Community Technology Programme (CTP)
This programme is implemented in a total of 14 Resource Centres.
The CTP is broken down into three sections:
Basic Training, Intermediate Training and Computer Repairs.
One thousand one hundred and eighty (1,180) persons are currently enrolled in the classes.
Community Art Career Programme (CACP)
This programme is in its seventh year of existence and has so far trained a number of fine artists some of whom are now tutors in the programme. Art training covers Drawing and illustration; Air brushing, Computer Graphics and Animation.

Dance Festival
The Festival was first held in 2006, under the Ministry of Social Transformation then
headed by Mr. Trevor Prescod who was the Minister of Social Transformation at that time.
HIV/AIDS Educational Programmes
This Programme is implemented as part of the Nation HIV/ AIDS Programme.
There are currently 15 HIV/AIDS Committees attached to the Community Development Department scattered across the island.

Community National Lessons Assistance Programme ( “ In Lap “)
Plans are at an advanced stage to implement the National Lessons Assistance Programme N.L.A.P (“In-L.A.P.”)
This programme is targeting children who are preparing for the eleven-plus exam But who are unable due to socio-economic circumstances to benefit form additional lessons in prep for the exam.
The Community Impact (C.I.) Initiative
This impact Initiative is a series of community based programmes initiated by community development Aides and officers based on their observations of the needs in the communities where they work and on the demands from their respective communities.
